Aion Tips

Choosing the Best Crafting Profession in Aion - Aion Tips

Author: Watson Frup N

There are 6 different crafting professions in Aion, and all 6 provide something valuable in their own right to those who know how to take advantage of them. The best way to approach the crafting process is to know ahead of time which profession will work for you and then to throw all of your energies into it, rather than trying to do three or four professions at once. It will allow you more control over your resources and also a better grip on the process of developing your stash of Kinah when you reach level 50.

•    Alchemy – Alchemists will focus on crafting items like spellbooks, orbs, manastones and scrolls for casters. They also make potions for instance running. Those who are casters will benefit most here though, when you reach the higher levels and end-game content, you can get a tremendous boost by having this profession.

•    Armorcrafting – Armorcrafters make Chain and Plate armor which benefits all Warriors and Chanters in the game. If you are one of those classes, this profession is for you. If you are any other class, you can still make Kinah with it, but only at the end game level most of the time.

•    Cooking – Cooks will make food with stat boosts for end-game content. You will find that a good place to sell this is in the Abyss or near instance entrances.

•    Handicrafting – Handicrafters make odds and ends including necklaces, earrings, and trinkets. They also make staves and bows. A lot of Kinah can be made here on those baubles.

•    Tailoring – Tailors make the cloth gear in this game. Cloth wearing classes should consider this profession along with anyone interested in the long grind to 399 where they can sell them.

•    Weaponsmithing – Weaponsmiths can make weapons for every class except for the Staff users. You’ll be able to make a nice profit here once you reach Level 50 due to the high demand for this type of gear.

For those that choose properly and then market their crafts effectively, the prospect of the right profession can not only help them make Kinah, but save a great deal of it as well as they reach end-game content, where most crafts have the greatest impact.

Ultimately, make sure to choose a profession that will directly benefit your class as well as your play style. The end-game Kinah benefits are all going to come later but they are just as viable.

How to Max Out Jewelcrafting, Enchanting, Mining or Any Other ...

As an avid world of warcraft player I know how difficult it can be to level up a character. In addition to that we all know, all too well, that certain races and classes are harder to level up than others. Therefore it should not be surprising that professions offer the same challenges - even to experienced players. However, I have discovered the dirty little secrets that can be used in any profession to level up super fast. In fact the average profession skill max-out time for a player using these secrets is just 1 day - even newbies!

The problem with choosing a primary profession is that often you are not really sure which profession best suits your character due to your race and class. Very often it isn't until you have gained a great deal of skill points that you realise you have picked the wrong profession or at least realise that the one you have chosen isn't a great fit!

I remember the first time I levelled up to 200 in blacksmithing (thinking I would be able to make really cool weapons and stuff) only to discover it was useless to me and I needed to change to tailoring. Talk about frustrating.

I consider myself to be fairly lucky though in the sense that when I made the mistake of levelling up the wrong profession for me I was able to recover quickly. I read, what seemed like, hundreds of forum postings in an attempt to find information on the professions and lucky found one that suited me really well (turned out to be tailoring who would've guessed -eh?!).

Whatever you do try not to waste your precious play time building up your skill points in a profession that is almost completely useless to your character! I have seen players waste their time getting to the high 300s just to discover that their profession is only good for selling stuff they've made at the auction house. Now getting more gold is great but your profession should also help you to power up your character!

If you want to learn how to max out your skill points super fast, one day for most players, then be sure to check out the information below. You'll be glad that you did.

Do you want all the insider information for levelling up your profession skills in the fastest time possible? Then check out Jewelcrafting Guide that can lead you to the secrets of jewelcrafting and every other profession!

Video Game Testing - Become A Video Game Tester In 5 Simple Steps ...

Step One: Be Proactive!

You won't land any video game tester jobs if you just sit around and wait for a "Game Testers Wanted" ad to appear in the paper. It won't happen. So instead of sitting back and waiting for a miracle to occur, just get out there and find the perfect video game testing job for you.

Head straight to the game companies and developers and apply for testing jobs. Since they aren't looking for you, the only logical step is to actively search for them. Once you find them (which shouldn't take too long), apply for a game tester position with them and then repeat the process for as many different companies as humanly possible.

On your application/resume, brag about all of your video game achievements, such as the consoles you own, the games you've played, the games you own, the MMORPGs you are apart of, and anything else that shows how much experience you have with video games. And if you want to help your cause even further, create a website/blog that talks about video games, gives reviews, previews, cheats, hints, tips, etc.

You have to remember that experience and professionalism count for a lot in this industry. Therefore, the more experience you have and the more professional you are, the better your chances are for getting a video game tester job.

Step Two: Step Out of Fairy Tale Land and Into Reality

You have to realize that video game testing is a job. Yes, it's a really fun job, but it is still a job nonetheless. This means that you have to treat it as such and take every part of it seriously. Don't merely sit down and play the game to have a good time. Sit down and play the game so that you can collect a paycheck when you're through.

Many "wanna-be" testers believe that being a professional video game tester is a "no work, all play" type of career. Honestly, they couldn't be more wrong. Although there aren't huge amounts of work that a game tester must wade through, there are still a few things that he/she has to complete. For instance, filling out reports. Surprised? Well, most aspiring young testers are when they hear that there is actual work involved with video game testing.

Contrary to what you may have thought, you won't be simply playing games and giving your opinion on whether they are good or not. You will actually be testing them. You will play through a game, find any bugs or glitches, and then fill out reports on any problems that you come across. This is to help the developers and programmers locate and fix those problems. You don't have to be an English professor or a college graduate to write bug reports, but you will have to have basic writing skills. Aside from the reports, you will also be required to fill out numerous questionnaires; which are typically opinion based.

As soon as you accept the fact that you'll be doing actual work as a video game tester, you will have much more success finding testing jobs.

Get Paid to Play Games: Become a Video Game Tester Today! - free ...

Hi, My name is Alex Lum. I have been a video game tester for various Game Developers for 4 Years now.

Did you know that the average pay rate for game testers is from $9-$80 an Hour and that you don't need any formal education. The only requirement for being a game tester is that you are 15 or over.

Video Game Testing is my job and I make $150,000 per year doing it.

Did you Know?

You do not need any formal education to be a video game tester.

You can get paid $9 - $80 an hour being a video game tester and get to keep the games you test.

Anyone can become a game tester, all that is required is that you are 15 or older to get paid to play games.

You only need one video game system to become a video game tester.

You can work as much or as little as you want to.

You might have seen other programs online saying "you can make $150 an hour playing video games online". Don't trust other programs for these reasons:

They only explain ways to play Internet games, and win prizes, not how to become a game tester for such companies as Microsoft, Activision, etc...

They are not experts, I have been a video game tester for 4 years, I doubt that any of them have never even worked in the video game industry before.

FAQs

This information is crucial to them, to ensure the successful release of the game.

You can work as much or as little as you want. Just pick the jobs that you would like to complete and they will either have you go into a local testing center, or they will send the game to you.

There are no requirements. You just need to be 15 or over to get a Game Tester job.

Do I get to Keep the Games I Test?

Many companies allow you to keep the games you test. I have about a 300 XBOX game library from all of the games I have tested.

World of Warcraft Gold Creating Guide by Michael Anthony

It can take a long time for world of warcraft newbies to build up any amount of gold let alone a substantial amount. I started to look for ways to increase my gold amount in less amount of time. I came across a few world of warcraft gold creating guides to learn some new tactics. One, in particular, speeded up the process of earning gold for me in a straight-forward manner.

I recently bought a world of warcraft guide to make more gold. I wanted to talk a little about it as I was impressed with it overall. Now, I've known about these guides as well as buying gold for awhile now. As everyone who plays the game knows, there is nothing but spam concerning these gold sellers. I can't stand them and I report them all the time. This is also illegal so I wanted to know where and how I could make more gold faster, legally, and without being scammed.

I believe I found the answer to my problem. I found a quality world of warcraft guide that showed me in a no-nonsense way how to make a lot more gold legally. There are really only 2 or 3 gold guides out there that are worth the time and money to invest in, but I think this one is the best.

I didn't know what to make of it at first since it was written so simply, except that maybe it was another scam. But I had to stop judging it by its cover and dug into it. There is a lot of information contained within it and once I started reading, I knew this guide was on to something. As a veteran Warcraft player, I knew right away that these strategies would work. Some of these were so simple that I did the ol' Homer Simpson hand slap to my head... "Doh!". How did I ever miss that? It was 'not-so-common' common sense.

Seeing things like this, I loved it and knew I already had my money's worth and I was not even 25% of the way through it. I had to keep reading and there is so much stuff that I couldnt get through it all in one night. I use it as a reference for gold making tips now. Once I started using its tips and strategies, I immediately added 50 gold to my coffers in less than 2 hours. The world of warcraft guide I use advertises 100 gold per hour but that is just relatively speaking. Some of these techniques bring in more and some bring in less gold than that.

Some of the ways to make gold are simple and some are much more involved so the timeframe varies according to how you want to make your money. The main point for me is that, you do make money. I was also given some very nice, useful bonuses too, including an Auctioneering and Fishing guide. I always wanted to know more about auction house cash too and this guide laid it all out for me.

I really like this guide. The author is a regular player for one. The guide also opens up your mind to other possibilities which aren't even included. A book that makes you think...hmmmm. The author lends support, an affiliate program, and updates for life. In addition, it is useable by all levels 1-70 and is constantly updated to include Burning Crusade strategies. The $37 I spent for this guide was money well spent and I can now make my own gold quicker anytime I want to. I have to say "Thanks" to the author for putting this out.

WoW Instance Leveling

Instance leveling is the quickest way to get to level 85, but did you know that doing your instance quests will get you there even faster?  Instance quests are those that must be done inside of the instances throughout World of Warcraft.  Though most instance quests are available from quest givers outside the instances, a few can be also be picked up inside of the instances.  Instance quests can involve killing a specific boss inside a specific instance, gathering certain items, or doing certain actions inside of the instances.  Here are four benefits of doing your instance quests.

wow instance leveling

Benefit #1: Gain more experience – You get bonus experience by completing instance quests while you’re instance leveling.  You get the experience from killing creatures inside the instances as well as plenty of bonus experience from completing the instance quests.  Additionally, completing instance quests grants you twice as much experience as completing solo quests, so for every instance quest you complete you get the experience comparable to completing two solo quests.

Benefit #2: Better gear upgrades–Instance leveling will give you more chances at getting better gear since the gear that the bosses drop is better than anything that’s out in the solo world.  Also, the gear you get as a reward for completing instance quests is much better than the gear you get for completing solo quests.  This means that you have two chances to get a gear upgrade every time you run an instance.  Additionally, if you run a random instance instead of queuing for a specific one, you have a third chance at getting better gear because you will get a bag of helpful items after you complete the instance.

Benefit #3: More fun interacting– Instance leveling gives you a chance to explore parts of the game you would never see if you skipped this option.  The instance quests used to be the ones that WoW players purposely skipped over because they required finding a group to complete them; however, the dungeon finder does this for you and takes all the guesswork out of finding an appropriate group, no matter what time of day it is.  This makes all those instance quests a whole lot easier and more fun than they were before.  So not only do you get more experience and better gear but you get to interact with other players while completing your quests.

Benefit #4: Convenience and practicality – Since you’re already planning on instance leveling anyway, it certainly makes  sense to complete the instance quests.  Seeking out the instance quests may take a little more time but having a good instance leveling guide can take some of the guesswork out of finding them.

Game systems and their differences

Sony's Playstation 3, Microsoft's Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii are the three main gaming systems available to the gaming public.

The latest among Sony's playstation series is the PS3. What distinguishes this console from the others in its series is its portability and connectivity features. This one is unique from the others as it allows individual access to online gaming whereas the others rely on the game developers to provide online access.

The Microsoft's Xbox 360 has a enormous game and gadget library and so is perfect for the gaming fanatic.

The Nintendo Wii brings the gaming experience to a whole new level with its full circle motion tracking capabilities.  Gamers are able to enjoy all sorts of sports from boxing, fishing, badminton, tennis, bowling and many more.  Nintendo Wii has a wide variety of exercise and fitness game programs that will help burn excess calories while having fun.
